Al-Qa'ida's Reality

Contrary to the accepted conventional analysis, the strength of Al-Qa'ida (AQ) is based on the organization's information operations (IO) and not on their ability to conduct terrorist attacks. However, in examining AQ's IO campaign, we find that the world's premier terrorist organization has unwitting, and at times willing, accomplices in the form of the media and the ill-informed perceptions of citizens. The intent of this analysis is to apply critical thinking and thereby uncover the true scope of the threat posed by AQ.
