Many of the stars are said to be billions of light years away, meaning it took billions of years for light to travel to Earth. People on Earth now see this light; therefore, Earth must be billions of years old. Christians learn, in plain language, the deception of such teachings which refute Earth's approximate age, according to the Bible. It's not important to know Earth's age as far as salvation is concerned. However, it is important to realize that there are no errors in God's Word.
