Following the post election violence in Kenya where over 1,500 people died and several people displace from their homes, Zimbabwean elections a month later where no different. Zimbabwe is a country with the highest inflation in the entire world at over 100,000%, continuous intimidation, murders all perpetuated by Mugabe's brutal war veterans on the his own people. South Africans are attacking fellow African foreigners, with over 60 people dead and over 25,000 dragged out of their own homes. The natives claim that the immigrants from most especially Zimbabwe and Zambia have taken over all the jobs leaving nothing for the local people. All these events are happening barely half way through the year 2008, what future is Africa looking up to? Are our leaders doing enough to unite, develop and empower the very people that they lead?
