Beautiful Blend of Music & Culture

"Many people in the West think of voodoo as something that is magical," explains Nickens Nkoso, leader of the effervescent Kasai Masai - a musical group from the Congo now based in London. "In the Congo we see voodoo as protection. I see the playing of my music as protecting the music and protecting the people." Known as the Voodoo King, he certainly protects the audience from boredom with his energetic and engaging performance.
