In this day and age a question like that could be an indicator for a number of things, one of which is not the economy. The presidential race has been hotter in recent history but can still be considered somewhat hot especially if you don't necessarily believe the news media is getting impartial poll results. If you ask mostly Democrats who will be the next President, then you get mostly democratic answers and vice versa. The weather is always a fair topic to discuss when talking about hot. With global warming being all the rave it seems like everything should be getting hotter, yet, we are having record cold as well. Things that are always hot are kiln elements and everything that is in the kiln.
