The Nixon Administration was rocked by the Watergate scandal which brought about its downfall in late 1974. The scandal was exposed by two Washington Post reporters, Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein who covered the story for a period of two years. In 1974, they wrote a book, 'All the President's Men', subsequently made into an Academy Award winning movie.
