Is there any one in the world, whether he is Indian or European, who is absolutely free from superstitions? At one time or other, every one must have been a victim of such a baseless conviction, even in this age of science and scientific thinking. But the difference is only in degree. While the Indian lives in the magic spell of superstition from birth to death, others give in to them only now and then. One very important reason for any one to be a victim of superstition is the fear of failure or the anxiety about the outcome.
