Every so often the news will cover a story about poverty or the poor. Yet no one seems agree, just what makes someone poor or how is poverty really defined. The federal government has their definition. Economic indicators, formulas and those that create or use them have another definition. We just can't seem to agree on a universal definition and then find a workable solution.
