From NGO's to consumer groups to government entities, a new focus is being shed on Alaskan habitat protection by a number of different players. With evidence clearly illustrating that wild-caught species make for better food and healthier people, the quest for vibrant streams and oceans is essential. From private groups to public leaders, a sea of advocates, fishermen, retailers, and restaurateurs are joining forces to lobby for the protection and restoration of natural resources affecting salmon and other seafood populations.
